Rachael Lindsay

Communications Manager

AALU

Bucket List:
My bucket list includes going to Crop Over in Barbados, listening to son cubano live in Havana, seeing the Northern Lights, and seeing a Basquiat exhibit in person.

Name a person with whom you most would want to have dinner:
I would dine with Hayao Miyazaki. His films are truly awe inspiring and I would love to learn about the creative process behind them.

Experience:
During my first year of post undergrad, I worked as a substitute Spanish teacher at Trinity Episcopal School in Richmond, VA and as an Instructional Assistant in the School of World Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University. After moving to northern Virginia, I joined the team at AALU as the Member Relations Manager and later became the Communications Manager.

My Life at AALU:
As Communications Manager, I assist in the upholding of the branding and communications functions of AALU. I work closely with the different departments here to ensure that our content and events are created and executed in the best fashion.
