Julie Schneider is Vice President Global Atlantic’s CMO (Career Marketing Organization) Channel. She brings more than 25 years of life insurance experience to the role. Julie is responsible for providing strategic direction, development and build-out of CMO distribution with a focus on business development, managing key relationships with distribution partners and ensuring execution of the traditional life sales strategy.
Julie joined Global Atlantic in September 2017. Prior to Global Atlantic, she was Senior Vice President, Firm Selection, at NFP-PartnersFinancial, responsible for sourcing, engaging and onboarding new firms for NFP’s high-end, life insurance-focused membership organization. Prior to NFP, Julie worked at Highland Capital Brokerage as Senior Vice President, High Cap Financial and Independent Distribution, responsible for their advanced producer group and market development within their independent distribution channel. Earlier at Highland, she had responsibility for Institutional Distribution where she led the organization’s efforts with major financial institutions such as UBS, Wells Fargo, Deutsche Bank and many others. Before joining a distribution company, Julie was a key contributor at a carrier, Jefferson Pilot, for ten years where she held a variety of positions, continuously growing in responsibility from new business and underwriting to marketing and distribution. She started her financial services career in sales, in both a general agency, with Northwestern Mutual Life and a brokerage office, with LPL.
Julie holds a bachelor’s in Communications and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin, as well as a FINRA Series 7 registration. She is a regular contributor to industry forums including the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU), Women in Financial Services (WIFS), Society of Financial Services Professionals (FSP), Life Insurance and Marketing Research Association (LIMRA) and The Forum 400.
Outside of the office, Julie is involved in her local community, most recently dedicating her time to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as a member of the leadership committee for the 2016 campaign, and she was nominated as a candidate for Woman of the Year in 2015. She is also involved in planning the annual Texas Conference for Women, a major event held each year to inspire women to excel in both professional and personal aspects of their lives.
