Chris Morton

Executive Vice President of Government Affairs & Business Strategy

Bucket List:
I want to take batting practice at Wrigley Field, experience the Cubs beating the White Sox in the World Series (one can always dream!), and witness my daughters impact the world through their unique talents.

Name a person with whom you most would want to have dinner:
Pope Francis at the Vatican with my better angel, my wife

My first job was as a golf caddy, and I worked as an ironworker in college. Professionally, since college, I have served in leadership roles at the national level for Members of Congress, Cabinet and Agency officials, and in the nonprofit, philanthropic, and corporate sectors.

My Life at AALU:
Here at AALU, I lead the Government Affairs operation, holding responsibility for all policy development, political engagement, and advocacy strategy for the organization. I wake up every day determined and focused on achieving the best environment for our members to deliver financial and retirement security for the American families and businesses they serve.
