How do I register for the Annual Meeting?

How should I plan my travel?

To maximize your time at the Annual Meeting, you should plan to arrive Sunday, April 30 by 10am and leave on Wednesday morning, May 3.

What will the weather be like in Washington?

Early May typically sees temperatures in the high 60s or low 70s. Remember to pack for rain, just in case!

What is the dress code for the meeting?

The majority of Annual Meeting events are business casual (optional blazer and tie for gentlemen), but if you attend the President's Dinner and Capitol Hill Club meetings, please plan to wear business professional attire.

What kind of attractions are near the hotel?

The Marriott Marquis is located in the heart of Washington, DC, so there is lots to do in the immediate area. However, don't forget that we have a number of special events planned to keep your calendar full during the meeting!

What if I need to cancel my registration?

All cancellations MUST be made in writing to Rachael Lindsay. The refund schedule is as follows:

  • 12.01.16-01.15.17: 100% refund, transfer, or 2018 credit
  • 01.16.17-02.28.17: 50% refund, transfer, or 2018 credit
  • 03.01.17-04.30.17: No refund, 100% transfer or 2018 credit

Do I need to register for workshops?

Nope! Workshops are open to all attendees. Master Class attendance is limited, so look for a special email announcing the opening of registration. OMB Director Mick Mulvaney's main platform address is limited to AALU members only. 

Is there an app for this year's meeting?

Yes! Keep an eye out for an email announcing when the app has gone live.
