Following poor performances by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, progressives have thrown their support behind Sanders. The struggle for moderates will be whether they can rally around a single, alternative candidate in time to catch or beat Sanders. In the last few days, centrist Democrats have called on Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Tom Steyer to drop out of the race, amid their struggles in Nevada and their unlikely paths to victory. Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Mayor Mike Bloomberg, and Biden have also faced heat from the moderate wing of the party (The Hill). As of today, though, no candidates have shown signs of abandoning their fight for the White House.
